DESCRIPTION OF THE PERFORMANCE: 

14 poems od Nikolaj Olejnikow - outstanding artist form OBERIU group, famous editor of legendary magazines: Hedgehog and Siskin, inspired composer Walery Woronow  to create a unique vocal and musical cycle. These 14 little tragedies create a very specific musical performance, placed on the edge of epic drama and childhood rhymes and countings. It is a performance about insects living in the world of people, and about people who are living among insects. About enchantment and fear of the scientific knowledge. It is a performance about vanity, beauty and... universe.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE ARTISTS:

Svetlana Ben - actress, director, poet, musician, founder of independent puppet theatre for children „Kartonka”. Graduate of Art School in Witebsk and the Belarus National Academy of Art. She works as a theatre director in puppet theatres in Belarus. She also cocreates many international artistic projects. she is a leader of well known Belarus musical group Silver Wedding.

Valery Voronov - composer, author of music in various theatre and film projects. Among others, he cooperates with: Theatre Studio "Kinoaktor", Theatre for Youth in Minsk, Grend-Theater, Film-Studio-Aalto in Essen, Studio Pirateria, Radio Deutsche Welle, West Deutsche Rundfunk in Köln. Since 2001 he is a member of Belarus Association of Composers. He lives and works in Germany.
